Located at the front entrance of the Crow’s Nest Café in Crow Head, Manifesting Rainbows is one of a series of Nina Elliott’s crocheted art installations titled “A Time in Twillingate,” an example of an artist-initiated public art project.
The temporary art exhibition ran from July 20 to September 20, 2021. Elliott, the "Rock Vandal", said, “Visitors can expect a variety of hand made fibre-based installations that merge fun, history and public art,” adding that part of the Outdoor Art Gallery experience is public engagement, “so it’s hoped that visitors stop, strike a pose, share and connect on social media via #rockvandal or @rock_vandal.”
